Training
For every truck sold in Oman by IHE, at least two and in most
cases more, customer drivers are trained. IHE also trains drivers
from the open market, building a pool of drivers with the right
attitude and skills.
As a part of its Omanisation programme, IHE imparts specialised
training to enhance the skills of Omani drivers to handle
and operate efficiently and safely state-of-the-art Volvo
and Renault Trucks it markets.
The Focus of these driver training programmes is to inculcate:
- Fuel Efficient Driving techniques
- Traffic Safety
- Be a goodwill ambassador on the highway
- Loading the truck correctly
