BSc in Applied Geosciences
|
Pass in General Certificate Examination. At least a D in Pure Mathematics and at least a D in either Physics or Chemistry. All other courses at least D.
|
The language of instruction is English.
Upon entry into the university, students will be asked to sit an English Language placement test.
Subject to the outcome of this placement test, students might be required to complete an intensive English programme before being able to enrol into the University’s Foundation Programme.
Entry requirements into OGTech’s Bachelor Programmes include IELTS Score 6.0 (no band below 5.5) or equivalent and a pass in relevant courses of the University’s Foundation Programme.

To confirm your place at OGTech, please arrange for payment of your fees. Please do not send cash through the post. Payment details will be included in your Letter of Offer. On receipt of payment, OGTech will issue a Confirmation of Enrolment.

Registration fees will be refunded upon enrolment into either the Intensive English Programme, the Foundation Programme or the Bachelor Programme.
Fees for Pre-University Programme include:
- Use of textbooks and access to a well-equipped library;
- Supply of a laptop computer for each student enrolled in the Foundation Programme;
- An internationally recognised International English Language Testing System (IELTS) certificate for each student in the Foundation Programme.
Fees for Bachelor Programmes include:
- Use of textbooks and access to a well-equipped library;
- Supply of a laptop computer for each student enrolled in Programme (unless students have completed their Pre-University Programme at OGTech, in which case the University will have already provided a laptop);
- Travel and accommodation during field trips (including courses in Germany) if these represent a compulsory part of the programme, as described in the corresponding Programme Specifications.
